DOOR-TO-DOOR
SALES.
Now
that the national do-not-call list makes it impossible to
reach millions of potential customers, some marketing companies are
returning
to an old-fashioned alternative: door-to-door salespeople.
"Door to
door" redirects here. For other uses, see Door to
Door.
This article
is about the sales technique. For the travelling salesman problem in
mathematics, see travelling salesman problem.
Door-to-door is a sales technique in
which a salesman
walks from one door to another trying to sell a product or service to
the
general public. A variant of this involves cold
calling first, when another sales representative attempts to gain
agreement
that a salesperson should visit. Door-to-door selling is usually
conducted in
the afternoon hours, when the majority of people are at home.
In the United
States, door-to-door sales are illegal in communities that have passed
a Green River Ordinance.
Typically,
products sold door to
door will be of the same variety that can be purchased at large
discount
stores. The products accounting for the largest share of direct-sales
revenue
includes cleaning supplies, cleaning equipment, magazines, and home
improvement
products. The largest of these would be the home improvement products
where
item could be new or repaired roofs, siding, new replacement windows,
and
decorative stone.
There
are several techniques to use to establish a good solid
door-to-door work force.
Remember
the saying that the more people you help, the better off
you are. Use this analogy in your marketing strategies. For example,
how many
High schools or colleges are located around you? How many companies are
hiring
in your area?
The purpose of those questions, are to get you to think outside the
box. High
school and college students need money, and you need workers.
Visit
the local schools and offer students a part time evening job
and or a summer job. You can offer to pay them by the hour, or to
choose our
method, and that is, pay per sale or commission only. Create a flyer,
and take
it to the schools. Pass them around or place them in the cafeteria.

MAKE
EXTRA CASH! GET PAID

We are currently hiring High
school and
college students to sell and promote our product door-to-door or
business-to-business.
Selling
one of the world’s
most sought out travel and entertainment club in the world.
Get
paid cash daily. Make $50-$1000’s extra per week.
You
only pay per sale, and be sure to provide a sliding scale.
Here is a sample of a sliding scale.
1-4
sales $25 each
5-8
sales $35 each
9-12
sales $40 each plus $20 bonus
Create
your own commission structure. Be sure to protect yourself
when it comes to your employees. Always request to hold there photo ID
or
license until the memberships and sales are dropped off. We would also
highly
recommend having them sign a contract that states if they do not return
the
membership cards by the end of the day, it is considered theft by
taking and
you will report them to the local authorities.
This
insures that you will get your membership cards and or monies
back.
Be
sure to always look into third party promotion companies as
well. For example, there are companies that canvass neighborhoods to
sell and
promote products and services. One
company that comes to the top of our heads is Smart Circle.
These
companies will most likely work with you and the will
allocate some of their representatives to your campaign. Pay them commission only
on every sale that
they make. This allows duplication to take effect and thus creating a
bigger
revenue stream for your business.
